**Roxanne started her modeling career in 1971.
**Photo # 1 is the very first picture I ever saw of Roxanne, and I can't tell you why, but right away I just knew she was different...at least for me. Maybe it was the naturalness of her pose, the smile, the way she cocked her head, that impossible mound of hair...whatever it was (maybe a combination of all of it)...she just connected. The picture itself is small and doesn't lend well to being enlarged...but it was enough for me. It was part of a unique series I call the Curley Top photos # 2 to 4 . **They're sexy and funny at the same time, which is one of the things that attacted me to Roxy; she was not only a georgeous looking woman, she had a sense of humor and wasn't afraid to poke fun at herself (as you'll see in the other Galleries as well).
And I'm really glad I've got the chance to share my appreciation of this woman with you fellow Roxy-ites!
**One of her earliest series of photos are these poolroom shots (pardon the pun) # 5 through 11 . **And photos 12 through 16 are more pictures from her early years. **Numbers 20 & 21 are rare ones of Roxy as a blonde! **Another of my favorites is Roxy as the Cookie Monster #25 (with a guest appearance by Porky Pig). **Number 33 has Roxy as a belly dancer. Not sure what happened to that idea, as this is the only picture of her in this outfit I've been able to find. **Number 35 I call "Ouch" (and notice that great all-over tan!) **And number 36 is a good example of Roxy being able to change her appearance-- here she looks more like Drew Barrymore!...except for those wonderful blue veins of course.
